What accident recovery includes
Recovery after a collision is more than a hook-up. We secure loose body panels, sweep what we can of debris we created, and load a car that may not steer or roll. We coordinate with officers when the street is closed. The labor is why this line is quoted on scene instead of a single menu price, while still staying consistent with our published local rates when the job is simple.
If the car only has a crumpled bumper and rolls straight, you may only need a standard tow. If it is against a wall, in a ditch, or sitting on a wheel that points the wrong way, we add winch work or dollies. We do not cut cars apart or run heavy rotators. We stay in the light-duty class.
How we work a crash scene
- Call (504) 414-8034 when it is safe. Give the cross streets, the number of vehicles, and whether lanes are blocked.
- We target the 30-minute metro ETA and tell you if traffic or a closed ramp will add time.
- The driver checks in with you and with any officer directing the scene before touching the car.
- We choose wheel-lift, dollies, or flatbed based on roll, steer, and ground clearance.
- We transport to your shop or storage and give you a receipt for the insurer.
When to call us versus waiting on rotation
If you are on private property — a lot on Veterans, a garage downtown, a driveway in Kenner — you can usually call your own wrecker. On a public highway, officers may already have a rotation truck coming. Calling us still helps: we can often arrive as your requested company, or we can meet you at the lot if the city truck already left.

After the car is loaded
Photograph the damage, get the other driver’s information, and ask where the car is going before anyone leaves. If the car went to the city pound at 400 N.
