Two Algiers, two truck plans
Algiers Point is historic, dense, and close to the river. General de Gaulle and MacArthur are wider, faster, and lined with retail. Sending the wrong truck wastes your 30-minute window. A lockout on Olivier Street is not the same job as a blown tire on the CCC approach. Say the neighborhood name and we match equipment.
Federal City / naval-support traffic and the bridge ramps add commute crashes. Those belong on accident recovery. Soft ground after rain along Whitney and other canal-adjacent streets belongs on a winch. Dead batteries in apartment lots off Holiday Drive are $65 jumps.
How an Algiers dispatch works
- Call (504) 414-8034. Say Point, de Gaulle, or the bridge, plus year and make.
- We quote the published rate and a 30-minute-class ETA for Orleans West Bank.
- We stage at a wide corner in the Point or on a lot along de Gaulle, then load or repair.
- We take the CCC to an East Bank shop or stay on the West Bank if that is your destination.
Bridge and ferry notes
If you stall on the Crescent City Connection, stay in the car, turn on hazards, and tell us which span and direction. Do not walk the bridge. If you stalled in line for the ferry, we work around the queue. For Uptown drop-offs after you cross, see our Uptown page for street notes the driver already knows.

“Algiers Point streets are tight and the Expressway side of Algiers is not. Tell us which Algiers you mean — the Point or de Gaulle — so we do not send a long bed down a creole cottage block.”
