Streets and corridors we know
Barataria Boulevard is the local north-south reference. The Expressway is the fast east-west reference. Fourth Street and Westwood pick up residential and school traffic. Ames Boulevard collects apartment and church-lot lockouts. After a downpour, low lots near drainage canals produce high-center and slip-off calls that need a strap before a hook-up.
Marrero sits close enough to Gretna that one truck often covers both. If you are east of Manhattan Boulevard you may still be in our Gretna pattern. If you are west toward Harvey and beyond, stay on the line and we will confirm we can take the job at the same published rates.
How a Marrero dispatch works
- Call (504) 414-8034 with Barataria, Expressway, Lapalco, or hospital details and the vehicle type.
- We quote $75 plus $4 per mile, $95 for a standard winch, or $65 roadside, plus a 30-minute-class ETA.
- We stage off the Expressway when the shoulder is unsafe and walk you to a service-road meet if you can roll.
- We drop at a West Bank shop or cross the river to the address you choose.
When Marrero calls become recoveries
Soft ground and canal-adjacent grass are not a Metairie mall problem. They are a Marrero problem after summer storms. If the rocker panel is already touching dirt, ask for winch-out recovery. If the car was hit on the Expressway, use accident recovery so we bring a bed or dollies.

“Marrero callers often say “by the hospital” or “on Barataria.” Add the cross street — Westwood, Ames, or Lapalco — and we park in the right lot on the first pass.”
